/></div><div><br /></div><div>So we had Jackson's 1 month appointment today and here are his stats.</div><div><div><br /></div><div>10 pounds and 15 ounces</div><div>21 1/2 inches</div><div>37 cm head</div><div><br /></div><div>Things he is doing now:</div><div><br /></div><div>He loves to look at lights.</div><div>Just started having some minor gas problems.</div><div>Wakes up 2 times a night, sometimes only once.</div><div>He smiles only for mommy (for now).</div><div>He makes some cooing noises, and one noise sounds like inward growling. haha</div><div>He gets rashes pretty easy, i think he has really sensitive skin. :(</div><div>Overall is a pretty calm baby, looks around mostly with a face thats makes you feel dumb for making baby noises at him haha.</div><div>When he is in that half asleep stage he laughs, he has done it 5 times, and it is sooo cute!</div><div>He HATES having his diaper changed, he screams so hard he stops breathing, hence I HATE diaper changes. :(</div><div>He lifts up his head alot, I think he is soooo strong but I'm sure he is just normal. :)</div><div>When he wakes up in the morning, I open up the blinds and the sun shines on the corner of our bed, I put a towel down and he has naked time and LOVES it!!! He loves baking in the sun! He cooes and kicks his feet alot! On Sunday July 4th my water broke around 3:40 pm, we were about to head out to my parents to celebrate the holiday. I was standing in the bathroom getting ready when it happened and josh was watching tv, i shouted at him a couple of times to come in, I think on the third shout he finally came, and he started to panic:) It was so funny because i was being stubborn about putting some makeup on and he wanted to leave right away. I won and was putting on makeup while Josh stood hovering over me the WHOLE time. He kept asking me if I was hurting, but I felt nothing at this point, mostly just grossed out, and I kept changing my pants because I wanted to feel clean, which I finally gave up on. So around 4:00 we head to the hospital with everything packed, Josh is calling everyone we told that we would call them while driving like a crazy man:) I was super calm, mainly because I wasn't feeling any pain. We got to the hospital, and they set us up in the delivery room, the first contraction I felt lasted about 5 mintues, which is apparently too long, jacksons heart rate dropped really low and really fast. We were just sitting around talking and then all of the sudden 5 nurses come in and put an oxygen mask on me and start pushing me on my side, the checked me again, and they all were very serious when a couple of minutes ago I was joking around with one of them. Needless to say Josh and I were freaked out. The nurse called my doctor and he said if that happens again to set up for a C-section. They gave me a shot to stop my contractions for about an hour. At this point I was only at a one. So after that hour, the contractions were coming about every 7 minutes. They were not hurting yet at all. When I finally got to a four, I was feeling the contractions, the nurses gave me a demerol shot, which made me soooo loopy, this is the real last memory I have everything else i have snapshot memories of and then Josh told me the rest. I had an epideral soon after when the contractions were getting really bad around 8 am the next morning i went from a 4 to a 10 in 4 hours, the nurse checked me and said that is was time to push. I pushed for about an hour and he was sunny side up, so his face wasn't pointed down. He was stuck in the birth canal about an inch away from crowning. At this point in pushing i was feeling everything on my right side, the antheiologist (sp?) was in surgery so they couldn't fix that, so they gave me another shot of demerol, and that wasn't really helping with the pain just made me really really loopy. So about 10 minutes after that i was cussing and screaming for 2 things, 1. to make the pain go away and 2. to get him out of there. The doctor came in and said we can try pushing some more or we can do a C-section. He left it up to me, and i really think you should never ask someone in that much pain if she wants to take the easy way out, because i took it. Later the doctor told me there was no way he was going to come out by pushing so he was happy with the decision. At my 38th week appointment I was telling him how much I didn't want a C-section. So he knew I would be upset. So with the decision made, they set up for an emergency C-section. They wheeled me in and told josh to stay out, gave me yet another shot a spinal tap. Josh showed me Jackson when he came out but i don't remeber it at all. I didn't get to see him until that night. But from all the pictures and video that I saw he looked like he just got out of a UFC fight, his eyes were blood shot from blood vessels popping, he had bruises all over his face, his eyes and lips were so swollen. He was not very cute when he first came out haha, Josh told me when he first saw him he was thinking, "oh not so cute, but we will love him anyways" haha. That night when i was feeding him Josh was showing me pictures, and he just looked totally different. I was thinking someone switched our baby. First was buster a boston terrier, he was a good pup but had some signs of big medical problems in the future so we had to sell him, and then there was MILEY the boxer she was perfect, but with life the way it happens we decided to sell her to a family who wont be living in 3 different states in a year, they both went to homes that had other dogs and owners who will spoil them, but they were my babies, josh was gone all day and we hung out like best buds! They both whined when i wasnt in the room which i thought was cute, both took naps with me everyday! We loved it there but after 2 weeks our office moved to washington dc. We ended up staying there for the rest of the summer. While we were in new york we went to the hamptons, the beach was soo pretty but we of course decided to go the day it was rainy and gross. But i got a picture of josh, who looks super happy to be there:) My parents also came to visit for 4 days and since we had been to new york as a family before we wanted to show josh all the new tourist stuff. We went to the empire state building where i hugged the inner wall the whole time and sat on the stairs with my head between my legs, if you have ever been there before the whole building sways with the wind, made me want to barf on the hobos below. We went to WICKED which was by far one of my most favorite musicals EVER! i loved ever second and literally had my mouth open in shock the whole time wondering how they can put on a production like that! GA-lenDA made me laugh <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; "></span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold; ">Our 1st apt</span><div><br /></div><div>so hard i cried! Both my parents and josh said she reminded them of me, she was funny in a dumb blonde way......is that a compliment? I will take it! After the show we went out to eat at the best restuarant ever! we sat outside and it was perfect weather, it was one of my most favorite nights because josh was getting to know my parents more and  I was on a high from wicked, the food was awesome, and everyone was laughing and having fun! We also road the subway everywhere, which was cool cause after the first day i knew how to get everywhere. Felt like a true new yorker, i even tried to stare past people, like everyone else in new york does, but i ended up gawking when hobo looking people came on or when the transvestite stood next to my dad! HILARIOUS!  We went to the statue of liberty, it was really fun but we had to run to catch or ferry, i mean like 50 yd dash run not a light jog. I of course was huffing and puffing while josh was eating a bagel and drinking his drink while running, made me look pathetic! Oh our hotel was super super classy, it was called the london, before i got married it would have been the nicest hotel i have ever stayed in(we stayed in the venetian our 2nd day being married), a guy from the sopranos was staying there too, my dad recognized him, i never watched it before. Then we went on those bike chariot tours in central park my parents in one and josh and i in the other, they took us to tavern on the green, strawberry fields, the water fountain where the opening credits to friends was filmed, through the whole park, our guides were friends from turkey, and super funny, cause they loved american films and told us all the major films that had ever been filmed in or near central park. We went to coney island at night time which was scary and ate at the first ever Nathans! SO good! We went shopping at Macys and bought purses from street vendors, i could have talked the guy lower on price but my dad felt bad and paid full price:( haha We ate hot dogs from street vendors too, and my dad got a soda which the top was super dirty but he didnt notice till he was half way done, pretty sure he swallowed some swine flu!     <br /></div><div><div><br /></div><div><img style="float:left; When a new semester begins at Byu-I they start it off with a night of fun called the I night extravaganza. Which may i add is a pretty fun night. There are tons of games available to play and like any school full of single LDS adults there are dating games:) So i decided to sit in on one of these dating games where a girl or guy tells the host a bunch of things they are looking for in a relationship. and as you dont qualify like if they say the person likes blonde hair and you have brown hair you sit down. Anyways, One of natalies friends made it all the way to like the final 6. I was in the front and she was in the back and when he made it up to the front she was screaming and cheering and being her energetic awesome self and i turn around to see this gorgeous, obviously fun little blonde girl screaming her head off:) And i think to myself im going to ask that girl out!!<br /></div><span><div style="text-align: center;">And due to my extreme courage that didnt end up happeing so i thought, CRAP!! This is BYU-I i am never going to see her again!! this was a friday night. Saturday im grappling the side of my friends apartment building having alot of fun when this same girl walks up and says<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">"what are you guys doing? you're so retarded!" and as im standing there with my mouth hanging open i manage to muster the words to my friend brett "you know her??" and brett said "ya man thats natalie" and again because of my courage she walked away and up to one of her friends apartments who lived above brett.<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Then a couple days later we decided to go set off some fireworks that my friends had purchased and i go to get in the car and there she is again sitting in the middle seat in the back so i climb in and sit next to her:) We go to the gas station and still dont really talk until we stop there and she turns to me and says "obviously these guys are all rude, im natalie" so i intorduced myself back and we went and played with fireworks and so on.<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">In the weeks to come she would stop by the apartment because she was seeing one of the guys that lived there kind of. (honestly they really didnt get along, trust me) and eventually she would just stop by and sit and talk to me:) this went on for about 2 months and we just got closer and closer.<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Then it got to the point where i knew i wanted to be with Natalie so i built up the nerve and told her that i knew i wanted to be with her and she said that she didnt want to get into a relationship at that time:/ haha. So i told her that if she changed her mind i would be there. So I invited her to come to sacramento in between semesters with her friend lindsey. (I busted out the secret weapon...my family:) then she came to me and said that she didnt like me...she adored me. I was the happiest guy on the planet, that was August 20 2005.<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Since then we have been on and off but always happy and dealt with alot together:) And this last semester we talked alot about getting married and that it felt like the time was getting better and better. I went out to work in miami after the fall and i was just trying to figure out the best way to do it:)<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I planned to do it sometime in march, but the ways that it worked out the end of february ended up being the best and worked out best with her family as well. So i started conspiring with her parents and family in order completely surprise natalie and get it done in a memorable way. Luckily her dad loves to take the family out to dinner on random nights of the week:) So her dad flew me out to texas to have a talk face to face with him and his wife. And once we had done that that night we decided to do it that night. So i went to outback and had the whole family in on it...as well as the whole staff at outback:) i got a shirt pins and everything and they all ordered their food and i camped out in the kitchen and chatted with all the kitchen staff and servers. The server took out all of their food but Natalies as previously planned. Then the Waitress brought me Natalies plate and ashley (natalies sister) came to video tape. So i came out with her food leaned over and said here pretty girl, sorry about the wait. she looked at me shocked and started crying i stood her up and said some nice things, knelt down and proposed:) as you guessed she said yes and that was Feb. 25 2009. We hungout almost everyday for about 2 months, then he invited my roomate and I to go to sacramento with him for the break. And anyone who has ever meet the Price family knows that the second you meet this family you fall in love! We had a great time and during this break we decided we both wanted to be with each other! He pretended to be my waiter and he conspired with the whole staff of Outback and made it so my food came out last and kinda late....during this time all the waiters and hostess were staring at me soo creepily and I just thought maybe I had something in my teeth or something on my face or they hated my outfit?? Well he showed up with my dinner and got down on one knee and asked me to marry and be with him for forever!! I said YES!!! I love him and am so excited for April 3rd.
